In Chris Klug’s “Writing for Television” class at CMU, our final assignment was to develop a spec script for a TV show of our choice. I chose Dexter as my show, as it was was one of my favorite shows but also a show that had narrative problems, especially in its final season. I chose to re-write a theoretical Season 8, Episode 1 episode for Dexter to set up a better final season than what we got.
